Hello!
This blog is a collection of my work over the course of four years at DJCAD studying Interior and Environmental Design.
Please see different projects listed on the right, and a collection of blog posts on the main page.
Degree
First class honours! So proud of all the I+ED guys, everyone worked very hard this year. Let’s all have a fantastic degree show!
Today’s the day! All my work from the past year is being graded this afternoon. I have 20 minutes to sell it, very nervous! These are some of the boards I put together, there’s a lot of changes to be made so they are perfect for degree show though! Power on.
Video Research
Such a great video, I hope i can make something like this some day.

Sunday: Floorplans and lots of Weezer! The good life?

Inside-out Art Centre - Atelier 11
I do love looking at converted factories.
So I’m in the process of making a short film, with pictures and videos of my sites mixed with shots and animations from the 3D model I’ve made. These are just a couple of detail shots of the site that I really love that feature in video. Heading down to the site again soon when there’s no snow around to get some good video clips.
progress
So the dissertation is finished and handed in, which means more time to focus on my main thesis! The following images are some progress shots of the project.

Victoria Works is to be redeveloped into a design transfer hub. With no dedicated communal space for PhD students, this centre provides work and social areas for these students. Exhibition, conference and workshop spaces are also something I want to include in the design.

A lot of the reference and inspirational material that i’ve been looking at is in redeveloped spaces and bold material combinations. Studying the addition of materials into old buildings, like the Contemporary Art Gallery in Tel-Avis, the material choices I pick for this project are considered because of their connection to existing features, so I constantly refer back to site photos to see what can be worked into the spaces.
